HAPPY NEW YEAR and FIRST NEW ART…in 2024! It’s a new day, a new year, and hopefully a new us, right? Blah blah blah….does anyone else get tired of all these demands of self improvement each and every new year? Come on, cut us some slack people, sometimes we’re just trying to get through the day without adding more pressure to us to improve.
Now don’t get me wrong, I am totally for working on your life, yourself and striving to be better. I just don’t get why we are pushed to set unrealistic goals and impose all this extra frustration, heartache and disappointment. Like who we are or what we are is somehow always lacking in some way. Did we NOT just remind ourselves to be grateful and be kind back in November?
