It is the day after my birthday and I am basking in the afterglow. A lot of people don’t like to celebrate birthdays but I do. I really do. It’s my one day of the year (if I’m lucky there are more in between) and my family always goes out of the way to make me feel loved and special. And I always get a great gift, dinner and dessert. What more can a mom ask for right?
So here we are into August and summer is winging its way quickly toward fall. I’m trying to build up some coo items for the shop/booth at the market downtown. I’m a amateur wannabe photographer, and i love to take local pics, from my perspective. I’ve taken some of these images and identified their locations and created some fun notecards. I’m still working on silk scarves and will accept special order commissions or you can purchase from the stock I have created. These scarves take 2 to 3 days to create, so I will never carry a large quantity because of their labor intensity. A while back (during boring winter) I made some polymer Clay Pendants that are hand painted and sculpted. And last (but first in my heart) art. This year I will carry seasonal artwork and will accept personalized orders.
Stay tuned, or follow my Facebook pages for regular posts of items as I create them. Click this link: Valerie Dowdy Arts-The Custom Brush
