There is quite a lot of news to fit into this blog, so I’ll get right to the details.
Im super excited to announce that officially beginning August 1, I have partnered with Lynchburg’s Community Market, downtown, and will have my own permanent booth. The Market houses a fantastic farmers market on both Wednesdays and Saturdays. The indoor market houses a variety of restaurants, coffee roaster/shop, bakery, along with a slew of Artisans and is open Tuesday through Saturday 9-2:00 daily. This is where you will find ‘Valerie Dowdy Art’. If you’re in the area, please take time to visit downtown and see just how much there is to offer. There’s the Market of course, and loads of great places to eat, have dessert or a drink, interspersed within lots of shops and have fun.
I’m working on some really cool, limited edition fine art new prints. All four of my coloring books will be available for purchase in addition to eight different designs of ‘Sassy Wine Chick’ note cards, and some new designs in the works.
