Today, we visited the new artisan center in Abingdon called Heartwood. The combination of natural elements, traditional textural materials and simple contemporary lines create a beautiful building. The green friendly technology is also a plus. I recommend a visit to check it out.
The painting today was obviously influenced by our drive and represents a view that we all see everyday a lot of times right outside our windows. Sadly we often take them for granted.
