Day 22: Approximately 1 billion trees worth of paper are thrown away every year in the U.S.

The trivia question…I have noticed is not going over so well. I will leave off the questions for a while.  Whoever you are that guessed, the Yellow House, you are correct.

In the hustle and bustle of our lives simple things somehow manage gather around the corners, and like dust, discarded or forgotten. Technology is progressing at such a rapid pace it seems we barely learn about something new before it is being updated or improved. We all enjoy the benefits.  In my blog entry today, I am asking you to remember to slow down from time to time. Remember to breathe in deeply-the fresh air, smell the pungent musky earth and feel the warmth of the sunshine on your face, and NOT to forget that if we do not protect these precious and irreplaceable things, who will?

Today’s study is from a photograph taken by a friend of his driveway and the fall scenery. Thank you for the inspiration. If anyone else wishes to share a photo or private comment with me please email it or me at v.dowdy@gmail.com

  1. What a gorgeous path to travel down everyday. This view definitely invites a person to slow down and take a few minutes from busy days to reconnect with nature. I love it…
